libpcp-import1-dev software package provides Performance Co-Pilot data import library and headers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpcp-import1-dev
libpcp-import1-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpcp-import1-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpcp-import1-dev *
You will get with libpcp-import1-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
